CirclePoint Guide for Monitors

The purpose of this guide is to explain Chain of Custody Awareness, a program mechanism, to adults whose sole role is to monitor students in a non-teaching capacity—e.g., cafeteria monitor, recess/playground monitor, or a non-teaching substitute—so those adults understand how the mechanism works and what they are required to do in a school that has implemented the program.

CirclePoint Quick-Counseling Guide

CirclePoint Quick-Counseling Guide

This guide was originally developed for doctors and other medical professionals who might identify a bullying problem but not be directly involved in the management and resolution of the problem. The guide is intended to help an adult to provide effective counseling to a bullied child and/or caregiver in a very brief period of time and to recommend next steps for resolving the bullying problem. The guide outlines the general points that should be covered in the conversation and provides examples of what the adult can say for each point. The guide can also be used in schools that provide the CirclePoint student guides to students but have not implemented the full program.
